Villa Romarin is build in a traditional provence style.
The villa is very comfortable and charming with it’s blend of new and antique provencal furniture, some of which is dating back to the 18th century.
In the upper floor there is a big, angular dining- and living room with an old, open fireplace and doors to a shady patio with panoramic view over the valley side and the pool area.
In addition to the living area, there is a kitchen area with modern kitchen elements and granite tabletops. The kitchen is well equipped including dishwasher, oven, micro oven, coffee maker, american style fridge with icemaker etc.
In the upper floor there is also two double bedrooms with cupboards (one bedroom has direct access to the terrace with unimpeded views over the valley), as well as a big bathroom and a guest toilet.
There are 3 terraces on different levels with a total area of approx 200 sq.meters in addition to an illuminated overflow pool of 10×4 meters. The entire pool area is encircled with lockable, wrought iron fences for child safety.
The lower floor comprises 2 double bedrooms (of which one is very big) with adjoining bathrooms. There is also a scullery with washing machine and tumble-drier as well as a small living room with direct access to a big, separate terrace.
From all the terraces there are beautiful, open view over numerous valleys and mountain villages, as far as to Nice, Mougins and the area around Cannes.
Behind the house, there is a separate small terrace with a big outdoor grill made in brickwork. The grounds are entirely fenced-in and the driveway is closed with a big gate, so the entire property can be locked up.
The Domaine area offers numerous activities, including a private tennis court within 3 minutes from the house. The internationally celebrated golf course of Domaine de Terre Blanche and the big lake of Lac St Cassien is within a few minutes drive from the house. At Lac St. Cassien it is possible to go fishing, windsurfing and sailing. There are numerous restaurants in the area, right from small, humble pizzeria’s to well known Michelin star-restaurants that can be reached within a few minutes drive from the house.
